Meet Associate, Whitney Barr

Meet Whitney Barr, an associate and Saint Louis University School of Law alumna.

Ms. Barr has taken an active role in a variety of complex matters at David A. Axelrod & Associates including medical liability, personal injury, and employment discrimination cases. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Barr worked for a business litigation firm in Kansas City, Missouri. She is admitted to practice in both Illinois and Missouri.

While in law school, Ms. Barr competed on the SLU Law National Moot Court Team and won Best Brief Overall in the Charleston School of Law Moot Court Competition. She also served as a teaching fellow, instructing the Introduction to Legal Studies course for first year students. In addition, she spent a summer term clerking for the Missouri Western District Court of Appeals.

Ms. Barr is actively involved in several legal organizations. She is on the Steering Committee of the Chicago Bar Association’s online legal publication and contributes articles to the publication monthly. Her articles are also shared under the blog section of this website. Ms. Barr maintains a commitment to public service and performs pro bono work through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
